Director, Global Production Apparel Operations

We are seeking a highly experienced Director, Global Production Apparel Operations to oversee production, quality, and factory performance across our global manufacturing network. This individual will serve as a key link between overseas factories and our New York headquarters, ensuring operational excellence, quality consistency, and on-time delivery. Key Responsibilities Production Planning & Management • Oversee factory production schedules and material supply schedules from order placement through shipment.• Monitor capacity, lead times, and delivery performance across multiple countries.• Identify and resolve production challenges to ensure timely execution.Factory Evaluation & Compliance Auditing • Conduct factory evaluations and operational audits.• Assess manufacturing capabilities, compliance, labor practices, and overall factory performance.• Develop corrective action plans and continuous improvement initiatives.Quality Control & Assurance • Lead quality management efforts across all production regions.• Partner with quality control teams to maintain consistent product standards.• Investigate and resolve quality issues while driving preventative measures.Global Factory Travel & Relationship Management • Travel extensively throughout Asia, Africa, and the Middle East (approximately 70–80% travel).• Build strong relationships with factory owners, management teams, and key partners.• Serve as the company’s representative for production, quality, and compliance initiati
